  I have been going to this tea room for over 10+ years. Today, I had an absolutely terrible experience. We waited for thirty minutes before someone took our tea order, which was by the manager, once she realized we had not been served. After this, we waited at least another twenty minutes for our tea. Once given our tea, I asked for a glass of water. After waiting 10 minutes, I had to physically go up and ask another waitress for some water and some cream for the tea. Our food came right after the tea, which did not give any time to sip and enjoy the tea. We ordered "The Blair", a roast beef sandwich, and the chicken salad sandwich, which both had extremely dry bread. No one came over to check on us or ask if we needed anything. The manager came over and I relayed our experience to her. In return, she was very apologetic, but did not offer any solution to the problem. I believe the manager spoke with the waitresses because when the bill was brought, ironically, she tried to be nice and ask how our service was. The main issue with our experience was the lack of service. Like I said before, I have been here numerous times and have had EXCEPTIONAl service, but after an experience like today, it will be a very long time before I return.
